Return/Exchange Policy

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. Northern Outfitters will gladly exchange or refund any products, so long as the item is returned in new, unused and resalable condition, returned within 14 days of your receipt of the items. All returned items are inspected upon receipt. If any item returned is found to show signs of having been used/worn, is soiled/dirty, including having animal hair or other debris on fabric, or is in a damaged condition, the item will be returned to the customer at their expense. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

Items returned after 14 days, 21 days for items shipped outside North America, will be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee. Items returned between 15 and 30 days will be subject to a 20% restocking fee, and may be returned for store credit only. No returns after 30 days unless returned subject to our warranty as outlined below.

If you would like to return or exchange an item, please contact Customer Service at 1-904-389-6400 to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA). Items returned without an RMA may not be timely and properly credited to your account, and it is possible without an RMA # for the returned item to be misplaced or lost. LIMITED WARRANTY - This information is provided without written, expressed or implied guarantees as to specific performance or safety. Northern Outfitters and its staff have used, and will continue to use, their best efforts to educate our customers in the proper application, care and safety of its products and technology. However, it is the responsibility of the individual to follow the manufacturer’s specifications and to exercise his or her best judgment concerning the performance and safety of these products and technology for any given situation. Northern Outfitters stands behind the quality of its products and provides a Six-Month Limited Warranty from the date of purchase of our products, except for the Arctic Boots and Mountain Pack Boots which have a 1-Year Limited Warranty. If the product is found to be covered under the Limited Warranty, Northern Outfitters will gladly replace or repair the product. This Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that may occur under normal wear. Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, or natural breakdown of materials over time, or problems that may be expected with normal wear or failure to follow care instructions are not covered by this Limited Warranty. The Limited Warranty does not guarantee or imply an expectation of service life, simply meaning that the products are not guaranteed for a specific amount of time. PLEASE NOTE – ARCTIC and MOUNTAIN PACK BOOTS - There is no practical way to guarantee the exact life of our boots, as storage conditions from individual to individual vary dramatically. The Arctic and Mountain Pack Boots are highly complex products, with a specialized chemical compound incorporated into the sole. That compound is subject to a natural breakdown over time, with an expected life of approximately 8 years. Heat or storage in a warm location (attic, garage, near furnace, etc.) for prolonged periods of time accelerates the breakdown of the compound. Quality and Workmanship on the Arctic Boots and Mountain Pack Boots are 100% guaranteed for 1-Year from date of purchase.
