Our quilted VÆTREX™ jacket and pant liners come in two thicknesses, the VÆTREX™ 0° Liner and the VÆTREX™ -30º Liner. The VÆTREX™ 0° Liner is designed for temperatures from 35º to -10° and is a mere 1/4" thick. The VÆTREX™
-30° Liner is designed for temperatures from 10° to -30° and is only
1/2" thick. These liners have been proven superior in an extensive
blind test performed by the UNIVERSITY OF NORTH DAKOTA. The results
of that test concluded: "OUNCE FOR OUNCE, VÆTREX™ IS THE MOST EFFICIENT INSULATING MATERIAL CURRENTLY AVAILABLE." VÆTREX™ is the ideal product for any winter activity.
• The VÆTREX™ Liners are designed to be worn directly against the skin, but can be worn over a THIN layer of polypropylene/polyester underwear. No natural fiber (Cotton, Wool or Silk) underwear/other garment is to be worn under these liners.
• Use these Liners with an outer garment such as our Arctic Parka Shell, EXP Waterproof Parka Shell and EXP Waterproof Bib Pant Shell.
